what should your budget
be for a Wedding Limousine party?
This depends on the type of limousine you select, the number of limos you are
planning to rent and the length of time you rent your limousine for. Please
understand that most limousine services have a rental minimum of 3 hours for a
wedding.
A typical wedding limousine rental package runs from $250 - $500 for 3 hours of
service depending on your vehicle preference. Exotic limousine choices cost much
higher. For example, a standard white 8-passenger stretch limousine would rent
in the $250-$350 range while an exotic vehicle, such as a Stretch SUV Excursion
would rent in the $500-$1,000 range - a big price difference!
When should I start shopping for a Wedding Limo?
A good time to begin your wedding limo shopping is 6 to 9 months before your
wedding date. Delays in your shopping could result in not finding your vehicle
of choice. Conversely, most companies do not handle inquiries for service which
extend beyond 1 year. To be taken seriously by a limousine service, it is best
to begin your shopping duties within a year of your wedding date.
Can my bridal party fit
in the Wedding Limo?
Most limousines simply are not big enough to accommodate 12-14 people. Exotic
vehicles can accommodate larger parties but are more expensive. When shopping,
make sure you specify the number of passengers that are going to be in your
limousine wedding party. Although a limo might be designated as a "10 -
passenger" limousine, it may be difficult to squeeze 10 adults dressed in formal
attire in such limos.
Should i get a Wedding
Limousine Contract?
Having a contract with your chosen limo company is a wise decision which will
help avert any problems in the future should your hired service not perform to
your expectations. Sadly, many firms do not put their services in writing- you
should require it!
What is a good time to hold my wedding for better Wedding Limo Prices?
If you haven't yet planned a wedding date, we strongly advise picking a date
which DOES NOT occur in the springtime. Why? During prom season (March - June)
prices are exorbitantly high because the demand for limo service skyrockets.
Prom attendees scoop up all available services and many bridal parties are left
without limo service options.
In the spring, bridal parties may find themselves with limo options that require
8 hours minimum and rental rates 30% higher than normal.
If your wedding date is in the spring, we suggest starting your limo search 1
year before your wedding date. You should also plan on making reservations 1
year in advance as well. For wedding dates during other seasons, 6 months is
adequate.
Do we pay while the Wedding limo is waiting?
You still have to pay for the rental time during your wedding even if you aren't
physically using the vehicle. Although the vehicle is not in use, it cannot be
used elsewhere; even when there are 2 or 3 hours in between the drop-off and
pickup. However, exceptions do exist when there are 6 to 8 hours between a
pick-up and drop-off.
Can we rent a Wedding limo for 1 hour?
No. Most companies require a minimum 3 hour booking to rent a limousine. During
prom season, expect this minimum to increase; as much as 8 hours minimum. High
demand vehicles such as Stretch Excursions will often rent at full price with an
8 hour minimum. Unfortunately, you are more likely to get struck by lightning
than getting a limousine rental for 1 or 2 hours during prom season. Limo prices
explode during prom season, including weddings!
Are there any discounts for my wedding Limos?
Depends on the day and length of time rented. However, limousine services do not
offer discounts during prom time. Why? The demand for limousines during the
spring exceeds the supply. This shortage causes an increase in prices and hourly
minimums. Some companies may offer a discount for a rental which exceeds 8
hours.

We are the original NJ Limousine Service who will give you facts about limos. We
abide by the 14 passenger restriction in limos in NJ and do not place you in
harms way by overloading. Furthermore, we do not misrepresent the year of our
vehicles or register our cars in another state because they are unsafe in NJ.
Pennsylvania or Delaware registrations plates on a limo is to circumvent the
stringent NJ laws put in place for your safety. All our cars have NJ
registration plates..
Are all limos and drivers licensed?
bonded? and insured?
All our our drivers have a CDL class A, B or C with passenger and or S
endorsement. All have undergone NJ State Police criminal background checks, DOT
mandated initial and periodic drug screening. We are one of a limited number of
limousine companies with a U.S. DOT compliance review rating and can prove it.
We maintain 10 million coverage on all vehicles. We are members of the NLA and
LANJ limo associations. WE ARE LICENSED to do business in 48 continental states
including Canada and Mexico. .
What are your standard payment terms? How
much is the deposit?
We require a non refundable deposit.
What is your customer satisfaction
cancellation policy?
All contracts have a mandated 72 hour period of review, after 72 hours the
contract becomes binding and all deposits are non refundable. In the event that
there exists some state of emergency such as a snow storm, we will allow you to
reschedule within 30 days..
What is your event cancellation policy?
Cancellations must be no later than 30 days prior to event..
If the limo breaks down, do you keep one
limo in reserve as a backup?
No one will keep a car in reserve and anyone that states so is clearly lying.
What I will tell you is that we have a very large fleet and that usually, there
is one or more cars that may be idle in your scheduled time frame but reserved a
few hours later. In this event of a malfunction, we will contact you, discuss
options and send whatever vehicle we agree to. Any vehicle considered an upgrade
is sent at no extra charge..
How many weddings do you service each
year?
Approximately 1200.
What color limos are available?
Our fleet consists of black, white and several variations of other colors.
Do you provide snacks and beverages?
What is the charge for food?
WE do not provide food. We give you bottled water or other refreshments based on
your affair type.
Can you provide liquor during the ride?
What is the charge for alcohol?
We give you complimentary champagne which has been an industry standard and
tacitly approved. However, in NJ as in all other states, it is illegal to
dispense alcohol without a Liquor license. No limousine company has a liquor
license in the state of NY or NJ. You are allowed to bring any items you wish
provided that your party is all at least 21 years of age.
What is a standard gratuity percentage?
Are tips included in your standard rate?
Our base quoted rates include gratuity but do not include NJ 7% sales tax as
applicable.
What is a normal limo rate? Is there a
discount for renting multiple limos? Rates range from $350.00 per 3 hour
package up to $1500.00 depending on type of vehicle, size of vehicle and number
of hours requested. We discount limos all Friday & Sunday weddings and all
wedding from Nov 1 to February 28/29 .
How old (avg age) is your limo fleet?
How many cars are in the fleet? Currently, our fleet is mostly new, we
have cars that are 2012, 2011, 2010. In most cases, we replace cars once they
become 3 years old. All our limousines are in pristine condition and very well
maintained.
If needed, can I get a child car seat?
We do not provide car seats, however we will store yours and return it to you at
the end of the trip.
Can I rent a smoke-free limo?
All transportation is smoke free per federal and state laws.
Will the limo driver be wearing a suit?,
tux?, or be casual?
All drivers are clad in black Tuxedo.
